Family Support Service (FSS)

A Centrecare service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families wanting to keep their children safe at home.

The Family Support Service (FSS) is an early intervention programme that provides counselling and support to Indigenous families where there is a risk of children entering care due to a range of issues – housing, health, neglect, supervision, abuse, family and domestic violence, drug and alcohol issues which might be affecting their ability to care for their children.
