National Illicit Drug Diversion Strategy (NIDS)
This service supports the work of the Community Drug Service Team (CDST) in the provision of services in the Goldfields and South Eastern region of WA, including provision of best practice counselling interventions to support reduction or ceasing of illicit drug-use, provision of education and training key service providers; collaboration and liaison with key community stakeholders to support enhanced service provision.
The NIDS is available for people living in the Kalgoorlie/Boulder, Esperance, Norseman, Northern Corridor which includes Menzies, Leonora, Laverton,. Also to Anangu pila (Spinifex Lands), which includes Coonana and Tjuntjuntjarra. Ngaanyatjarra Lands which includes Warburton, Cosmo, Tjurrkarilya, Wingellina, Blackstone, Jamieson, Wannan, Warakurna. Coolgardie, Kambalda, Ravensthorpe, Condingup, Southern Cross, Balladonia and others.
