What vacancies do you have at present?
All external vacancies are advertised on our Website, local newspapers, horizonemployement.com.au and seek.com.au
If a job is posted at this web site, does this mean it is still open?
Yes. If a position is visible on the web site it generally means the position has not yet been filled.
What qualifications do I need to be considered for a position at Centrecare?
All positions advertised state the minimum qualifications and applicants must meet this requirement to be considered for an interview.
How long does a position stay open?
Most positions remain open for up 9-14 days or until a position is filled.
Does Centrecare sponsor visas?
Centrecare does not undertake visa sponsorship of any kind. If you apply for a position with Centrecare and you are on a visa, please advise Human Resources of your visa status so we are able to determine suitability of your application.
Can I apply for more than one job at time?
Yes. You are welcome to send your application for all positions that suit your skills and career path.
What if I don’t address the selection criteria?
If you have not addressed the selection criteria you will not be considered for the vacancy and your application will not be retained.
What happens after I turn in my applications?
After the closing date, applications are reviewed by Human Resources and the managers of the respective programs who shortlist the candidates to be interviewed. The applicants will then be contacted directly to arrange for interview.
Can I turn in an application for a position that is not open yet?
Our application procedure requires you to turn in applications for current open positions rather than for positions that may be available in the future. Unsolicited applications will not be acknowledged.
Can I send you my resume even if you don’t have a job suitable for me?
Unsolicited resumes will not be acknowledged.
How do I get a National Police Certificate?
It is a requirement that all candidates supply copy of a current valid National Police Certificate (issued within the past 12 months) before they can be offered a job at Centrecare. Please do not send us the original.
The certificate can be obtained from any post office in Western Australia for $50.00 with current ID. For more information see the WA Police Website http://www.police.wa.gov.au/OurServices/tabid/939/Default.aspx
Your police clearance certificate can be presented at interview at the latest.
Do I have to have a Working with Children Check (WWCC)?
No. If you need a working with children check, this will be specified in the selection criteria for the position. For more information on who needs a WWCC please see http://www.checkwwc.wa.gov.au/default.htm.
