Team Leader - Full time, Two Positions
Full Time, Gosnells $53,959 - $56,222 per annum plus super.
Centrecare is a highly successful not-for-profit organisation committed to bringing out the best in people through a range of services including relationship and family counselling, gambling help, accommodation services, migration assistance, victim support and EAP services.
We are seeking two driven individuals who has proven experience in ensuring the delivery of high quality programs, facilitating team meetings, overseeing and having their own caseloads. Team leaders need to ensure the above meet the objectives and outcomes of the outreach programs based at Centrecare Gosnells.
The successful applicant will be required to supply a National Police Clearance.
Your duties will include:
- Facilitate team meetings within allocated programs areas in the absence of the Executive and/or Assistant Manager.
- Liaise with funding bodies if required by the Executive Manager or the Director
- Provide a counselling, assessment and referral service for clients and their families in accordance with Program requirements and agency policies.
- Prepare reports to the respective Funding Bodies in consultation with the Executive Manager and Assistant Manager, as required by the funding agreements, for the Accommodation and Outreach Programs.
Some of the selection criteria will include:
- National Police Clearance and ability to apply for a Working with Children Check.
- Possession of a current ‘C’ class driver’s licence and vehicle.
- Recognised tertiary level qualifications in Community Development, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Aboriginal Studies and/or related disciplines.
- Experience in coordination of teams of staff within the community services sector.
- Ability to work with a broad cross section of people to include business, other community based agencies, government and different socio-economic and cultural groups.
- Experience in the provision of outreach services and homelessness services.
- Computer literacy skills and the ability to collect statistical data related to service delivery.
