General Counsellor
2 x Full-time or Part-time, Kalgoorlie
$49,252.96 - $57,827.92 pro rata per annum plus $500 - $2000 meal entertainment allowance depending on experience, superannuation and salary packaging.
We are seeking suitably qualified counsellors to provide counselling, outreach and referral services for clients and their families. You will also facilitate groups and education sessions as required. Previous experience in Youth Services, or Alcohol and or Other Drug Counselling, Family Relationship Counselling or Mental Health Services is preferable. In this position some of your tasks might include:

Provide a counselling, assessment and referral service for clients and their families in accordance with Program requirements and agency policies.

Facilitate groups as required.

Arrange referrals to agencies and services for clients who would be better served by such agencies and services.

If appropriate assist with clinical supervision within the agency.

Prepare and collate Program Reports as directed by Program Manager.
To be successful for this position you will need to have:
- Recognised Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or relevant field.
- A valid National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months).
- A current Working With Children Check.
