Centrecare Goldfields is a highly successful Kalgoorlie & Esperance based division of Centrecare Inc committed to bringing out the best in people through a range of services including relationship and family counselling, mental health supports, victim support and child witness services as well as providing support to remote Aboriginal communities. We are currently recruiting staff in a variety of areas for our rapidly expanding team that provides services to the Goldfields region and remote locations. Positions are available in the following areas:
Community Drug Service Team
Counsellors and Facilitators focusing on providing education in the area of Alcohol and other Drugs to facilitate the recovery of clients with social and mental health issues, or in the diversion program which enables clients to access assistance with dependency versus the Judicial System.
Family Relationship Team
Roles focusing on the development of strong individuals and families through supportive education programs are available as are counselling positions linked with the new Child Contact Centre where services include educating and supervising families at a time when maximum support is necessary.
Youth, Prisoner Re-Entry, Financial & Housing Support Team
Facilitators, Counsellors and Volunteers are sought in the above areas giving hope back to those who are leaving the justice systems, or preventing their detention. An emphasis is placed on teaching life skills and assisting with education in areas that give purpose and meaning back to people’s lives.
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in an exciting environment and will need to display a genuine interest and firm commitment to our clients.
Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual appointments will be considered, with family-friendly hours also negotiable.
