Team Leader Mental Health, AOD and Financial Counselling Services

Full Time, Kalgoorlie

$63,959.65 - $66,222.55 per annum plus superannuation and salary packaging

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to provide assessments, counselling, education and referral services for clients and their families. You will also provide assistance to the Assistant Manager to manage your team of staff.

Your duties will include:

  • Provide a high quality assessment, counselling, education and referral service for clients and their families in accordance with the program requirements and agency policies
  • Provide a coordinating role to ensure the objectives and outcomes of services funded are achieved.
  • Provide a counselling, assessment and referral service for clients and their families in accordance with Program requirements and agency policies.
  • To provide clinical expertise to the team including the development and evaluation of program areas.
  • Develop program content and facilitate groups as required.
  • Support the Assistant Manager in developing, planning and evaluating of services.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Recognised tertiary level qualifications in Psychology or Social Work or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in the provision of counselling to individuals, couples and families.
  • Proven training ability and clinical supervision skills.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
  • Sensitivity to cultural issues.
