Family Domestic Violence Counselling and Support Service

This service works with adults and children to help them find solutions to problems both practical and personal that have arisen from family and domestic violence.

Family Domestic Violence Counselling and Support Service
assists those responsible for family and domestic violence to accept responsibility

It provides strength focussed responses that assist women and men to find solutions to their problems through information, short term support and safety planning. Formal counselling and support services provide planned and goal directed interventions that assist women, men, children and young people deal with the effects of harms caused by involvement in or exposure to family and domestic violence.

The service assists those responsible for family and domestic violence to accept responsibility, recognise the impact of their behaviour on others to change their behaviour.

Areas serviced by this program include: Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Coolgardie and the Northern Corridor.
