On 31 May 2018, it was publically announced that Centrecare was awarded seven Intensive Family Support programs in Armadale, Cannington, Joondalup, Mirrabooka, Midland, Perth and the South West.
Centrecare’s Director, Tony Pietropiccolo AM says this is a positive outcome for the organisation and the community.
“Centrecare currently delivers 61 programs across WA in metro, regional and remote settings. Over the years we have successfully demonstrated our commitment to the WA community by diversifying our services to meet its needs. This commitment will continue into the future. Our partnership with Wungening will ensure Centrecare delivers meaningful initiatives that improve outcomes for Aboriginal families.”
This is an exciting opportunity for Centrecare to share its knowledge and resources to benefit the community. Centrecare will officially commence the new services in September, 2018.
As part of the establishment phase, Centrecare will be actively recruiting a substantial number of new staff with positions being advertised in the coming weeks and available via the Centrecare website .
