We also want to acknowledge that Christmas and the New Year period can be difficult and for some, dangerous.
Rates of family and domestic violence are known to increase during holiday periods. Financial difficulties, depression, increased alcohol, and substance use, along with social isolation can all create additional pressure for people and heighten risk to wellbeing.
Finding Support
Centrecare Services do not close over the Christmas New Year period apart from the public holidays. All our offices are open in Perth, Midland, Mirrabooka, Joondalup, Cannington, Gosnells, Kalgoorlie, Esperance, and Bunbury.
