Men Choosing Respect - Southwest (BUNBURY) Online
Rural Centrecare - Friday, January 9, 2026 10:00am - 11:30pm24 week behavioural change program for men.
An open & safe group where we learn to:
- Understand the impact of violence on others
- Acknowledge the use of violence and take full responsibility for the behaviour
- Make safe choices
- Develop the ability to act in respectful ways
- Look at things from other's perspectives
- Understand how you might have made the family feel unsafe and not respected
Please note:
You must reside in the Southwest region and be over 17 years of age.
Group dates will be advised as they are formalised.
Groups do not run on public holidays.

Integrated Primary Mental Health Care outreach 2026 - KAMBALDA
Rural Kambalda Community Recreation Facility - Thursday, September 310:00am - 3:00pm
The Integrated Primary Mental Health Care program (IPMHC) is a FREE service offered to people living in the Goldfields region.
The program is designed to support individuals who are experiencing psychological distress, depression, anxiety, and other symptoms of mild to severe mental illness, through a range of treatment options.
Staff will be visiting Kambalda every 2 weeks commencing Thursday 22 January 2026.
Appointments are essential.

Circle of Security (online)
Metro Online - Monday, September 712:30pm - 2:30pm
Circle of Security (COS) is an early intervention parenting program delivered over eight two (8x2) hour sessions to assist you to become more aware of and responsive to your children’s emotional needs.
Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you!
The COS Program is based on decades of research about how secure adult to child relationships can be supported and strengthened when they:
- Understand a child’s world by learning to read the emotional cues and needs.
- Support a child's ability to successfully manage emotions.
- Enhance the development of a child’s self-esteem, resilience, and their ability to thrive.
Note:
You must reside in Western Australia to participate.
Participants will receive a certificate upon attendance of all eight sessions.

Tuning into Kids
Metro Centrecare Midland - Friday, September 49:30am - 11:30am
Do you want to get to know and understand your child better?
Tuning in to kids will show you how to develop your emotional connection between you and your kids.
Specifically focusing on the developmental needs of kids, integrating a greater focus on acceptance/empathy, and helping parents and carers to manage their own responses when kids reject or push them away as the young person seeks greater autonomy.
The aim of this workshop is for adults to:
- Identify, label, and understand their own emotions
- Successfully use emotions during social interactions
- Use emotional awareness to guide oneself when solving problems and with conflict
- Deal with frustrations and be able to wait to get what they want
- Keep distress from overwhelming the ability to think
- Be in control of how and when to express feelings

When Gambling Becomes a Problem - PERTH
Metro Centrecare - Tuesday, October 275:30pm - 7:30pm
Workshops for people who want to explore their gambling behaviour.
Centrecare/Gambling Help WA is offering a workshop of six (6) weeks duration for clients over the age of 18 years with an interest in addressing their problematic gambling behaviour.
The group is run by an experienced counsellor specialising in people with problematic gambling. Family member or partner welcome.
Topics to be covered in the workshops include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding reasons for problem gambling
- Understanding functions of problem gambling
- Understanding impacts of problem gambling
- Exploring motivation to change
- Developing strategies to control problem gambling
- Exploring thought processes
- Reconnecting with our best selves
- Re-evaluation of our lifestyle
- Taking responsibility for gambling behaviour
- Maintaining changes made
- Relapse prevention
Please note:
All participants must attend at least one individual assessment session at Centrecare prior to commencing the group. (This assessment will determine suitability for the group.)

A six (6) week nurturing and empowering program for parents and carers who have experienced family violence.
This program provides a friendly and safe environment to learn from each other and begin a journey of understanding and healing for themselves and their children from the impacts of family violence.

- Breaking the cycle of violence
- Strengthening parent-child relationship
- Supporting emotional recovery for both parents and children
