Around 1,000 people attended a candelight vigil at Stirling Gardens on Sunday 23 February 2014 to remember Reza Berati, the Iranian asylum seeker who died at Manus Island detention centre last week. The Perth vigil was one of three held in Australia, with others being held in Sydney and Melbourne.
