On Monday 11th June, Centrecare Joondalup was pleased to host a visit from the Hon. Robyn McSweeney BA JP MLC, Minister for Child Protection; Community Services; Seniors and Volunteering; Women's Interests; Youth.
The Minister enjoyed an afternoon tea with staff and management during which time she spent discussing a couple of programs delivered from the Joondalup branch: Parent Adolescent Conflict Counselling Service and Centrecare’s Youth Outreach Support Service.
Discussions also centred around the current issues and challenges arising in the community including the increasing mental health concerns and how the growth of social media and technology impacts on the lives of families.
