The Centrecare sponsored Italian Earthquake Appeal 2016 is continuing to attract donors. The fundraising Gala Dinner was a great success with over 200 people paying $250 a head to attend what was a wonderful event held in a spirit of generosity and solidarity. All the food and drinks were donated.
The Lord Mayor of Perth, Lisa Scaffidi attended the dinner with the Perth City Council donating $10,000 and the use of the Perth Town Hall. There have been some very generous donations and it is expected that the $100,000 target for the appeal will be reached.
The money will be used to provide assistance to the children and elderly people affected by the earthquake. If you want to make a donation to this worthy cause cheques can be sent to Centrecare Inc., 456 Hay St, Perth, WA 6000 or money can be transferred or deposited to:
