Safer Internet Day 2021

"On Safer Internet Day the world comes together with a shared vision of making online experiences better for everyone.

As the official committee in Australia and a leader in the global effort, eSafety celebrates the day as one of the most important events of the year. We run Safer Internet Day webinars for school students, parents and carers. We also share tips and resources that help all communities throughout Australia talk about online issues and the best strategies for staying safe.

To mark Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 9 February 2021 we are releasing new research, Digital Lives of Aussie Teens. We are also launching two new resources for young children, the Swoosh, Glide and Rule Number 5 picture book and My Family Rules song by Lah-Lah.

Plus, we are kicking off our new Virtual Classroom webinar for primary schools, Be an eSafe kid: Fake news, real harms and our new webinar for parents and carers, Cyberbullying and online drama.

So get involved now and help promote a better internet!"
