New General Manager - Community Services Appointment

General Manager

After much thoughtful consideration Centrecare is pleased to announce that Executive Manager, Leanne Strommen has been appointed to the position of General Manager - Community Services.

For a number of years now Leanne has been acting in the role of General Manager whenever Catherine Spini has been on leave.

Leanne has a Bachelor of Social Work, an Advanced Certificate in Human Services (Disabilities) and a Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in Housing Management and Policy.

Leanne’s professionalism, managerial skills and extraordinary knowledge of Centrecare, having managed many of the organisation’s programs and locations over 26 years makes her highly suited to the position.

She has a deep understanding of the social service sector and the government systems with which Centrecare engages.

Leanne has been the Chairperson of Shelter WA and a Board member of National Shelter, Vice President/Secretary of the Council for Homeless Persons Australia and a Board member of the Australian Federation of Homeless Organisations and has participated in a host of other government and sector committees.

This extensive experience along with her long term commitment to the values and work of Centrecare makes her an ideal, internal appointment.

We congratulate Leanne on her promotion and wish her every success in her new role as General Manager – Community Services.
