Perth Airport Achiever Awards 2014 - Nominate Now!

The Department for Child Protection and Family Support’s Achiever Awards offer financial assistance and encouragement for young people aged 15 to 25 years who have been in the Department’s care and who are persevering with further education or training.

Award recipients receive funding to assist with tertiary or vocational education, with nominations invited into three categories:

  1. University Achiever Award (Prize: $4,000 + trophy)
  2. Registered Training Achiever Award (Prize: $1,000 + trophy)
  3. Apprenticeship or Traineeship Achiever Award (Prize: $1,000 + trophy)

An additional $1,000 prize, the Ida Curtois Inspiration Award, is presented to an Achiever Award winner who has also made a significant contribution to their community.

The awards honoured 22 amazing young people in 2013, and the 2014 program promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Nominations close on Monday, 10 February 2014.
