COVID UPDATE
Perth, Peel and South West region enters lockdown
Effective 6pm Sunday, 31 January until 6pm Friday, 5 February 2021, the Perth metro area, Peel and South West regions are in lockdown.
In line with the WA Government's announcement of a five-day lockdown on Sunday, Centrecare is in the process of contacting all our clients with face-to-face appointments booked during this time to transition to telephone or videoconferencing. Centrecare is committed to our clients and will continue servicing outreach clients face-to-face on a case-by-case basis.
Centrecare remains operational as we continue to make every effort to ensure everyone we work with is safe and supported during this challenging time. Yesterday’s announcements undoubtedly created significant disruption to our community, especially the delay to the return of children to school. We are very cognisant of the uncertainty and unease associated with the lockdown on our clients, staff and the wider community and sincerely hope that the uncertainty and disruption will end on 5 February.
