Safe at Home

A service offered by Centrecare in Kalgoorlie-Boulder for women and children who have experienced family and domestic violence and are assessed as low to medium risk.

The Safe at Home service is designed to help women and children remain in their homes or in a residence of their choice when it is safe to do so. This allows them to continue accessing their usual support networks, such as work and school.

Centrecare provides assistance with the following:

  • Risk assessment
  • Safety planning
  • Security upgrades for clients' homes
  • Court support
  • Liaison with police and other services
  • Counselling
  • Case management to address financial and other issues

To access support, individuals can self-refer or be referred by other services, including Kalgoorlie Police, hospital, and other community organisations.

For assistance, you can contact Centrecare by calling (08) 9080 0333 or visit our office at 168 Egan Street, Kalgoorlie.
