Centrecare’s Homelessness Accommodation Support Worker South East service provides six to 12 months of outreach support to individuals, couples and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and exiting crisis or short term National Affordable Housing Agreement (NAHA) accommodation services.

About Homelessness Accommodation Support Worker South East

Referrals can only be accepted from Supported Accommodation Assistance Program services.

Are you;

  • Homeless or at risk of homelessness;
  • In crisis or short term accommodation;
  • Wanting to live in the south east metropolitan area;
  • Seeking support to find stable long term accommodation;
  • Requiring assistance to establish and maintain a tenancy; and/or
  • Requiring assistance to link in with and access community services, including recreation, education, employment and training and other services,

If you answer “yes” to any of the above questions, then this service may be of help to you.

Homelessness Accommodation Support Worker South East can assist you:
  • to access and maintain long term stable accommodation;
  • reconnect with family including children if this is possible;
  • to budget more effectively and manage your finances;
  • in accessing education, employment training opportunities, income entitlement, medical care, drug and alcohol counselling etc.;
  • with support to attend groups and courses to improve relationships with others, life skills, gain confidence, manage your anger and develop positive options for the future;
  • link with positive recreational and leisure activities; and/or
  • access to counselling or other support services for you or others living with you.
